Experts believe that the Republican Party has won the parliamentary elections of April 2 not due to election fraud or ballot stuffing but mostly through the use of administrative resources and bribery.
Well-known Diaspora Armenians, namely Serj Tankian, Armenian American Rock Musician and Composer, Vocalist and Founder of the world famous “System of a Down” Band, Arsinee Khanjian, Armenian-Canadian Actress and Producer, Atom Egoyan, Armenian-Canadian Film Director, Erik Nazarian, Armenian American Film Director and Screenwriter, arrived in Armenian from abroad to conduct an observation mission in the Parliamentary elections.
“Armenian Revolutionary Federation” Party considers the rating system of candidates, election bribes and the discussions about making concessions on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to be the most worrisome issues of the Parliamentary Elections planned on April 2.

Political parties participating in the elections in Armavir region mainly targeted at agricultural issues, from the improvement of irrigation system to the increase of efficiency and productivity in rural economies.
