The International Center for Human Development issued a report on the necessity of introducing compulsory medical insurance in Armenia and the obstacles to the process. According to statistical data cited in the report, the number of people who are aware of the need to apply for a doctor's care but they do not is increasing year by year in Armenia.
On September 9, 2017, Elections of Chairman of RA Chamber of Advocates will be held. The upcoming elections will be non-competitive, as one candidate is nominated for the post of chairman - Ara Zohrabyan, the current chairman of the chamber.

On November 10, 2011, the Government of Armenia adopted the concept of “Community Enlargement and Formation of Inter-Community Unions” which aims to unite small and weak communities into a large community and form a new local self-governance model.
July 5 is the Constitution Day of the Republic of Armenia. In 1995, July 5, the newly independent Armenia adopted its first constitution through a nationwide referendum. It has been revised twice during the whole history – in 2005 and in 2015.
