The Bill on Non-Governmental Organizations Restricts the Liberalization of NGOs

The bill on non-governmental organizations intends to improve the working environment of NGOs and ensure the maximum liberalization of their activities which is restricted by the current legislation, representatives of non-governmental organizations stated at the Media Center panel discussion.

The bill on non-governmental organizations was drafted and published in 2014. The concerns and controversial provisions voiced by the NGOs, however, resulted in initiating a series of public discussions at the Armenian Justice Ministry since December, 2013.
