The Armenian Genocide is not a national but a human problem. During the past half century, considerable work has been carried out in order to make it an agenda issue in the international relations.
Arman Navasardyan, the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, stated it.
Due to him, the priority of the Armenia diplomacy should be to demonstrate that the Armenophobic policy has been ongoing since 1915 and it manifests in the Karabakh developments. “We need to understand that today's diplomacy is significantly different from the diplomacy of 1965 or 1990. Today's developments change the methods and it is necessary to move forward with new approaches. If we include only an official diplomacy in the list, if we ignore the public diplomacy, we will not achieve anything. These two should be combined, each of us should be the soldier of that issue,” he said.
