“Road Traffic Accidents in Armenia 2016”

As of November 15, 2016, 2762 road traffic accidents took place in Armenia according to the state statistics. 

Armen Khachatryan, Deputy Chief of Traffic Police, presented these data during the discussion at Media Center.

As a result of these accidents 227 people passed away, 2844 people were injured. Compared with the same period of the last year, the number of traffic accidents decreased by 196, the number of the injured people decreased by 265 and the number of victims - by 63. "In the case of such a tendency, the number of victims will decrease by the end of the year compared to the previous one,” Khachatryan said.
