Political Tech Experts Speak on the December 6 Referendum
Political tech experts shared thoughts on the December 6 Referendum and its aftermath.

The Media Center hosted political tech experts Armen Badalyan and Vigen Hakobyan and political analyst Armen Baghdasaryan.

“The opposition have acted right, they have not made any blunder, and eventually there were brilliant results from a numbers perspective,” said Armen Baghdasaryan.

“Now the society has power enough to say no to the authorities. Yet they lack the power to keep that “no”. The main output of the referendum is this reality,” believes Armen Badalyan.

Vigen Hakobyan believes any voting in the country reflect the big picture of what happens on the street. “The de jure yes is the palpable display of what we have on the street. There was no huge pressure on the authorities from the street, from Freedom Square. This may be explained by the fact that there is no distinguished charismatic leader at this stage,” said Vigen Hakobyan.
