The Relevance of Gandhi’s Philosophy in the Modern World

December 8, 2015: The Media Center hosted “The Relevance of Gandhi’s Philosophy in the Modern World” presentation. The event was attended by H.E. Suresh Babu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India in Georgia and Armenia.

The event organized by Maksedan School of Foreign Languages featured presentations on Mahatma Gandhi and his political activities by young Maksedanians.

Anush Sedrakyan, Headmaster of Maksedan School of Foreign Languages; and Arsen Kharatyan, Gandhi Foundation-Armenia, made the opening speeches.

The speakers included: Hayk Hunanyan, Zaruhi Kevorkova, Ella Mikayelyan, Haykuhi Gevorgyan, Mariam Nazaryan, and Alice Sharafyan.
