Pros and Cons: Vanadzor Is Discussing the Constitutional Changes

The discussion on the proposed constitutional changes which was held in Vanadzor on November 3 involved representatives of Lori-based NGOs, civil society organizations and party regional committees.

The speakers included: Arevik Petrosyan, lawyer at the Helsinki Group of Spitak; Gevorg Kotanjyan, Heritage Party; Armenuhi Kyureghyan, ARF-Dashnaktsutyun, Vanadzor Committee; Hovhannes Nikoghosyan, Rule of Law Party; Susanna Martirosyan, Senior Specialist at Vanadzor City Council; Samvel Khalatyan, Lori Regional Council; Lilit Ghabudyan, Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities, NGO; Razmik Evoyan, Founding Parliament; and members of the Defend Your Vote Civic Initiative Andranik Sergoyan and Henrik Mkhitaryan.

To reveal the moods among users of Facebook, the most influential social platform in Armenia, the Public Journalism Club carried out an e-poll through Polls for pages tool. The e-poll sought to find out the attitude of the Armenian Facebook users to the changes in the governance system initiated by the authorities to introduce the parliamentary system.
