The Adoption of Domestic Violence Law Is in Stagnation

Though the bill of Domestic Violence Law addresses the proposed requirements fully, the adoption of the law is not actively backed. Today at the Media Center press conference civil society representatives shared thoughts on recent developments regarding Domestic Violence Law in Armenia.

“We suggest enacting the law phase by phase. It is not obligatory and, moreover, it is not possible to put it into effect to the hilt on the very first day of the law adoption.
