Press Conference: Media Center Hosts UK Ambassador to Armenia Kathy Leach

The issue of the Scottish Independence is resolved for this generation at least for now. The referendum revealed that “Scotland voted for a stronger Scottish parliament supported by the strength and security of the United Kingdom.”

The historic significance of the Scottish Independence Referendum is also in the fact that the British government is now required to readdress the set of rights granted not only to Scotland but other constituent parts: Wales, Northern Ireland and England.

At the Media Center initiated press conference Kathy Leach spoke on the results and significance of the Scottish Independence Referendum, as well as statements made by British Prime Minister David Cameron.
