Lawsuit against Joining Customs Union
Vanadzor Office of Helsinki Citizens' Assembly filed a lawsuit to the RA Administrative Court a lawsuit requiring acknowledging Serzh Sargsyan’s decision to join the Customs Union of September 3, 2013 illegal.

Today the Media Center hosted a press conference titled, “The Arguments for Filing a Lawsuit against the Decision to Join Customs Union”. The speaker was Artur Sakunts, head of Vanadzor Office ofHelsinki Citizens' Assembly.

The speaker claimed that the President's actions violated such principles of a democratic country as good governance, transparency, publicity.

‘Serzh Sargsyan’s statement which he made on September 3 is an illegal action. There are sufficient reasons and we look forward to a satisfying decision of the Armenian judicial authorities,’ said Sakunts.

The RA Administrative Court is to make a decision of accepting or rejecting the lawsuit within 7 days.
