The new programme policy of the Public Television has a positive tendency, Yerevan State University Faculty of Journalism lecturer, Candidate of Philological Sciences Astghik Avetisyan said at the Media Center.

“Television still remains the most demanded form of mass media”, the speaker is convinced.

She pointed out that Public TV hasn't served its purpose for a long time. There used to be good programmes that were broadcast at irrelevant hours. At present better hours are chosen for those programmes.

Astghik Avetisyan claims that the programme policy of five Armenian private televisions has changed positively.

Avetisyan presented a proposal package at the Press Conference aimed to support heads of the television companies in discovering possible obstacles and develop a perspective strategy.

On October 16 the Media Center hosted a Press Conference on “Programme Strategy of the Television Companies in Armenia” held by Yerevan State University Faculty of Journalism lecturer, Candidate of Philological Sciences Astghik Avetisyan.
